Country: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Closing date: 10 Sep 2015

Salary circa £31,000 per annum plus benefits of up to 16%

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports community action on HIV, health and human rights to end AIDS. Our vision is a world in which communities have brought an end to HIV transmission, and secured their health and human rights. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate the Alliance’s peer review accreditation system. Alliance accreditation is a quality assurance system that checks that Alliance Linking Organisations meet predetermined standards that ensure that Alliance Linking Organisations are strong, sustainable and credible civil society organisations working towards ending AIDS.

These standards cover three areas: Governance and Sustainability, Organisational Management and HIV Programming. The Accreditation Advisor will mobilise all the support needed across the Alliance secretariat and partnership to ensure Linking Organisations successfully complete the assessment process.

S/he will also support the Head of Team, Legal Risk and Compliance with the continued development of the accreditation system, promoting the accreditation system internally and externally, and reporting to the Accreditation Committee, which is a sub committee of the Alliance Board of Trustees.
