The International HIV/AIDS Alliance works with communities through local, national and global action on HIV, health and human rights. Our vision is a world without AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.
We are now looking to recruit a Director’s Assistant: Operations based at our Brighton Secretariat. Reporting directly to the Director: Operations, the Director’s Assistant will also provide administrative support to the three Associate Directors within the Field Programmes Department. This includes, but is not limited to, general administrative support, documentation, reporting and project / programmatic support, as well as logistics planning and preparation for team, department and external meetings, events or workshops.
The role requires excellent organisational and computer skills, good analytical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate must be diplomatic and discrete when dealing with confidential or sensitive information. They will be highly motivated and flexible, with an ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
